Personally, I'm tired of all the rigamarol that comes with trying to find a significant other. So here's who I am. I'm a WYSIWYG type of guy (What You See Is What You Get). If you're interested in me, contact me. If you're not, don't. I've gotten too many responses that are "I just want a friend". I have enough "just friends" as it is. I'm looking for someone who will be more than that. I work hard all day long and usually when I get home, I'm completely out of it and so I spend my free time in front of my computer, just vegging out. So I don't go out, I don't do the club scene, I don't even go to the movies (though there's another good reason for that). Say what you want, but when you work as hard as I do, then you'd be a homebody too.
I roleplay in both AD&D (both furry and non-furry) and on Furcadia (http://www.furcadia.com). I also occasionally haunt a few Furnet IRC channels and some forums, but you can mainly find me on MSN, or AIM.

So anyway, I used to have my own apartment, in Metairie, Louisiana, but I've had to move back to my parent's house in Jefferson, Louisiana (that's near New Orleans). I literally moved five minutes away. Rent's cheaper, especially after Katrina, and it's a safer neighborhood. I'm not going to badmouth living with my folks. But I'm living with them to help them out because my mother is on permanent disability and so they need a little extra income to keep from losing the house.
It's hard to put all my personality into one ad, so the best way to understand me is to either browse my blog on Xanga (http://www.xanga.com/darai) or just talk to me. Don't be scared. I don't bite (unless you ask real nice).

I am an avid gamer. I prefer to play Action/Adventure games, First Person Shooters, RPG's, (free)MMORPG's, Real Time Strategy games, and Puzzle games. I've got an NES, SNES, 3 Gameboys (Color, Advance, and SP), GameCube, 2 DS's (Original and Lite), Wii, PSX, PS2, a laptop, and my computer is a homebrewed machine which is also a great gaming platform. I also play Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 Edition with a group of friends. I'm currently involved in several major games and I've run a few furry games myself.
I love electronics. I've got myself a cellphone, a mobile broadband device for my laptop, a PDA with wireless capabilities, a 64mb MP3 player from Creative, and a 20gb MP3 player from Dell. On top of all that I have my desktop and laptop computers which have all kinds of accessories on them. Yeah, I'm a real computer geek. :3 I work as IT support for the Immigration branch of the Department of Homeland Security too. Fun stuff, if you're into that sort of thing.
I also spend a good deal of time reading. My favorite authors are Piers Anthony (Magic of Xanth, Apprentice Adept, Incarnations of Immortality) and Orson Scott Card (Ender's Game, Ender's Shadow). I just love sci-fi and fantasy. :3
I love artists! Really, I do. I respect artists because drawing, playing music, dancing, and other forms of art are really things that I just cannot grasp. But the one thing that I can do well is write. I can't do poetry, but I can write short stories and multi-chapter stories. I can write just about anything, but there are some things that I have to draw the line at.
I also have a car! It's an '07 Pontiac Grand Prix (practically brand new!), so there's no problem with me getting to and from somewhere. And if I don't have access to that car, I can always use my parents' '04 GMC Envoy. I would rather be driving a Monte Carlo though. Also, I recently purchased a scooter. It's an '07 Honda Silverwing. It's a 600cc so it can hit top speeds of 100mph. It's a pretty decent starter bike, IMHO.
